hi Fred

I had imagined that we might follow this itinerary for the Spring trip

March 30 - Arrive in Corpus Christie in the afternoon. Find the dock where
our tour boat leaves the next day. Enjoy a nice meal.

March 31 - am - tour Aransas looking for whoopers close up
pm other Aransas area birding, or
go on down to Kingsville (half way down the coast)

April 1 -am half day tour of the King Ranch (guided tour. Cost - ?)
pm - come on down to Brownsville
Go to a couple of sites looking for parakeet, parrot, and maybe corvid.

April 2 - Rio Grande area

April 3 - Rio Grande area

April 4 - am Falcon Dam
pm - drive up to Edward's Plateau. (A long drive - I forget how many hours)
Neal's Lodge already has our room reserved this night and tomorrow

April 5 - Look for warbler and vireo and whatever. Maybe bats in the evening

April 6 - am - last minute desperate search or a fine breakfast
pm - leave San Antonio for arrival in MD.

I have booked our flights

Depart Wed., Mar. 30 Baltimore (BWI)	8:20 am	Stops: 1	Continental
Continental
Arrive Wed., Mar. 30 Corpus Christi (CRP)	1:00 pm
Flight(s) operated by Partner Airline
Depart Wed., Apr. 6 San Antonio (SAT)	1:45 pm	Stops: 1	Continental
Continental
Arrive Wed., Apr. 6 Baltimore (BWI)	8:09 pm

We have one stop in Houston. Our return flight is slightly longer than our
initial flight. We have "e tickets" - paper tickets cost $20 extra per
ticket, and I see no real need for a paper. The total cost is $468.58, and
your responsibility would be one half that amount.

I am still looking into rentals. I hear what you said about an SUV not being
necessary. Depending on what kind we get, the gas mileage might be low.
What kind of sedan did you and Karen rent?

Talk with you soon.

Don pond in the ground.
