But the birds are moving today so expect to see them odd places. Seems this weather has all kinds of large birds flying around. Possibly the small birds, too, but I've been in the car and don't see them as well at 65mph.

There was an adult peregrine perched on a light pole at 2:45pm on I-70 in Frederick at the junction of I-270 and US-15.

Melissa,
Very rare in that part of the county. Most sightings are down at Piney
Run or Liberty reservoir. We've lived here in north Carroll for 19 years and
we've had 2 show up. One was an adult flyover and the other was juvenile
that checked out the lake across the road, but didn't stay long.

County, perched in a tree above Bear Branch (the creek), just off of Bachman
Valley Rd (near mailbox 252) north of Westminster, MD. The bird appeared to
be hunting over an open field. Is this an unusual sighting for northern
Carroll County??
