To many "savage birders" down these here parts, I'm afraid. Back home in Vermont we're lucky if 5 birders show up for a rare bird. Of course, we have maple donuts and coffee.

I went to see the Snowy Owl (2000??) in Frederick and turned around before I

got to the farm to see it - I was appalled. Cars lined up on the road, off

the road, idiots standing in the middle of the road with spotting scopes.
