Hi All,

The Kent County Bird Club will be heading to Ocean City and northern Assateague Island on Saturday, 22 January in search of coastal specialties: loons, grebes, alcids (we hope), sea ducks, wintering shorebirds, and gannet. Meet at 8:00 AM at the Dollar General parking lot off of Philosopher's Terrace in Chestertown, bringing warm clothing and lunch. At this point, Saturday's weather forecast suggests a threat of snow, so please get in touch Friday for any last-minute changes. If we decide to cancel, we will post a notice to MDOsprey and the club list by Friday evening. The following Saturday (1/29) is open for us, but of course the weather forecast for that day is unavailable at this time.
