Hi all,
Just got back few minutes ago after been away all
weekend.
Found both Surf and White-winged Scoter at my
arrival, but the female White-winged remain for a
short time and disappear farther out. Jim Brighton,
his friend Joe from Alaska and Don Burggraf joined me
looking for all three scoter sp. but the drake Surf
remain during our two hrs stay. Couldn't find Black
Scoter or Red-breasted Merganser anywhere.
Afterward Jim left for Cecil County and Don & I went
to Harbor Hospital Center looking for more gulls after
we got a Bonaparte's in distance near a cargo ship
from Japan with many dozens Ringbills.
