The Ripley Rufous was feeding actively at both 12:30 and 12:50 today.  
Incredibly, during the first appearance, two people walked up and stood directly in 
front of the feeder, talking and laughing.  One even reached out with a stick 
to shoo away a Mourning Dove perched in the feeder tree!!! 

Walking by the Smithsonian Castle about an hour later, an adult Cooper's Hawk 
was circling directly overhead.
