I did have great views of the lapwing this afternoon
from Graceham Road, where Hans Holbrook had relocated
it (thank you Hans! thank you John!).  It was still
there at 5:55 pm when I walked back to my car to write
some notes.  Everybody was well behaved, parking and
staying some distance from the bird.  

And George, my laundry is currently in the drier.  I
have to go take it out.
