Hi Everyone,

I spent several windy days on the shore, here are the highlights.

- On Thursday, I refound the reported Snow Buntings on Rolling Bridge Road in Queen Anne's County. There was a very large flock of Horned Larks which contained the three Snow Buntings.

- At the inlet on Friday afternoon, I had no luck with alcids, but had good luck with most everything else. All three scooters were present as well as both eiders. I observed seven or eight eiders, two of which were Kings. Both loons and Great Cormorant were also seen. Missed the Harlequin Duck.

- Pair of Common Mergansers were at the Ocean Pines pond on Friday.

- On Friday, I spotted an Adult Golden Eagle in Somerset County, I was on back roads between Crisfield and Rumbly Point. At the Somerset landfill, I found an Adult Lesser Black-backed Gull.

- At Blackwater on Saturday, I refound a White-breasted Nuthatch along Wildlife drive just after the first pond on the right.

-At the Borrow pit, there was one Pintail mixed in with 150 Mallards.

FYI, I spoke to the owners of the Eagle's Nest campground in December. They have sold the campground. Please make sure you make contact with the new owners as you enter the area. I visited the campground on Friday, but could not locate anyone. This is a great spot, hopefully the new owners will be as birder friendly as the old ones.
