Actually, Rob did and we did too -- after being called by him...really nice
bird, full adult (unlike the one we saw on L.I. ten years ago or so) -- long
crest, great color. Hope it sticks around for everyone! By the way, it was
relocated just before 4 pm on at the original site on Black Mill Rd. but
then flew off and was again located on nearby Graceham Rd. (Take 550 north
from Black Mill in center of little village of Creagerstown, take second
right onto Graceham.) The bird was in the field on the right about 1/4 mile
in, on the northwest edge where there was some standing water. Also some
Killdeer.

We are off to Bhutan Tuesday so great to connect with the Lapwing without
too much hassle...thanks to cell phone help from Rob Hilton and John Hubble.
