Bald Eagles and Snow Geese are likely at Blackwater NWR. Trumpeter Swans
are not reliable anywhere in the east. Maybe you meant Tundra Swans?
Dorchester is also likely, but the lower Potomac has many at Cobb Island,
Charles County. Bald Eagles are numerous in Charles, but Snow Geese are
difficult to find here.

Good luck.

George

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Eagles, Swans, Geese

I realize that the bird everyone is interested in this week is the
Northern Lapwing. However, I would like to know if anyone can suggest a
place/s where one can reliably count on seeing Bald Eagles, Trumpeter Swans
or Snow Geese within easy driving distance of western Baltimore County (but
closer than central Pennsylvania). My daughter will be in town and she has
been searching for Bald Eagles both here and in Massachusetts to no avail We
have been to Conowingo twice when she was here but have not yet seen a BAEA.
Of course we may go look for the Lapwing instead.

      Thanks for your help.
