Loch Raven resevior is worth a shot. Really close to you as well. Take
the cromwell bridge rd exit of 695. I've seen a couple bald eagles there
this winter. As for snow geese, just got to get lucky.

-I realize that the bird everyone is interested in this week is
the Northern Lapwing. However, I would like to know if anyone can
suggest a place/s where one can reliably count on seeing Bald Eagles,
Trumpeter Swans or Snow Geese within easy driving distance of western
Baltimore County (but closer than central Pennsylvania). My daughter
will be in town and she has been searching for Bald Eagles both here and
in Massachusetts to no avail We have been to Conowingo twice when she
was here but have not yet seen a BAEA. Of course we may go look for the
Lapwing instead.

      Thanks for your help.
