The park staff are trying to encourage the coyotes to eat deer by leaving carcasses from road kills around for them.
They are also trying to take pictures of them by staking carcasses near motion detector cameras. The coyotes won't pose for pictures and they won't touch the deer that are staked to the ground. Smart canines!

So, let's hope they at least get a taste for deer fawns. Don't tell Bambi I said that.

Do coyotes eat deer? There may be a natural solution in progress!
