  Hi yesterday from about 2:00 pm to about 6:00  I   made a try for the 
Northern Shrike  recently reported from  Pickering Creek in Talbot Co . I    
had no luck .  For about 45 minutes I was joined by  Zack Baer and Jim 
Wilson High School students  from Queen Annes Co. Even Latter By  Terry 
Allen. It was nice to see those folks.  Just as the Sun was setting Terry 
and I were Joined by Mark  Scallion pickering Creek's Directior  and his 
Wife Susanna out for an eveing walk. Also  nice Chatting with them They  
latter report that soon after Terry and I left the heard a Woodcock  doing 
its  Courtship call . Bird Highlights were

lots of Canada Geese
3     Cackling Geese    in the impoundment    latter one was seen by Jim and 
Zack
2 Mute  Swan
12 Green winged Teal
5   Pintails
2    Woodducks  Terry  and Danny
1 Northern Harrier      also seen   Jim And Zack
1 Sharpshinned  Hawk    seen By Terry Allen Also
1 adult  Bald Eagle
1 Kestrel
     Mockingbirds     several
15  Song Sparrow
   1  Flicker
    1 Downey woodpecker
    1 Red Bellied Woodpecker
    1 Cardinal
   2  Carolina Chickadee
1 Yellow Rumped Warbler
