Hi all as today I had errands to catch up on  I did not Get much birding  
in .   But a quick stop at the town dock in Queenstown  produced my first 
for the year  and so far lone Osprey  newly arrived   and looked like it had 
just finished taking a bath . it was on a  marker in the  creek preening .  
Waterfowl here were

Bufflehead          5
Mallards               3

Ring Billed Gull     many
Greater Black Backed  Gull    3
Herring Gull                 several
