While out looking/listening for nesting owls at dusk last night I noticed several moths and one small bat. Another sign of spring.
No owls were apparent.

I enjoyed this lovely day walking at Centennial Park and Font Hill Park
in Howard County. Saw a few spring fauna:

2 Buffleheads at Centennial
~6 Fox Sparrows at Font Hill (in a group of ~100 Juncos, White-throated
and Song Sparrows)

1 Questionmark comma butterfly at Font Hill
0 dragonflies at either location, alas! Too soon.

And one "winter" bird -- a Red-breasted Nuthatch at Font Hill.
