Many thanks to Tyler Bell for helping all of us correctly identify
"Shrimpy" and sharing his wealth of knowledge about the bird. Both Lisa and
I were struck when he mentioned that we were looking at probably the only
Kelp Gull currently in North America. What a thought!

	Thanks, too, to the Audubon Naturalist Society for letting us tag along to
Beauvue. Ring-necked Duck was a year-bird.. Our last stop of the day was
Solomons Island waterfront. Hoping for an American Coot to add to our year
list (seen them there many times before) but it was too windy for any decent
birding.
