See Life Paulagics is running a trip on April 16 out of Lewes, DE. This is an
underexplored time of year. Last year's trip out of Lewes had a very
interesting mix of winter and spring birds, including Razorbills, Common
Murres, Fulmars, Sooty Shearwaters, a probable Manx Shearwater, and Red
Phalaropes.

Our real hope at this time of year is to find an albatross and/or Great Skua.
Both birds, when reported on the East Coast, are often found in the company of
large numbers of Gannets. This is the time of year when Mackerel, Herring, and
baitfish are moving north in large schools, with large flocks of Gannets
following.

The trip is scheduled to run from 6:00 AM to about 5:00 PM, and we plan on
visiting both DE and MD pelagic waters. The cost is $110.

If you would like to sign up for this trip, please let us know soon. Our office
will be closed from March 22 to April 2, and we'd like to see if we have enough
to make the trip a "go".
