I am attempting to coordinate a survey of Lesser Black-backed Gulls this weekend.  The main focus of the survey will be around Philadelphia PA, since that's where most of them tend to be found.  I would, however, very much appreciate any counts from MD, VA, DC or DE over the weekend!  Some may recall a similar effort last spring, which benefited from several records from these areas.  If anyone runs across LBBGs this weekend, please keep me in mind and kindly forward (or post) the number, time and location.

This will be the first of two surveys this spring, the second being scheduled 
for Saturday, 09 April.  A survey in March 2004 resulted in 412 Lesser Black-backed Gulls across the northeastern US, a probable North American high count.  Any help this weekend will be appreciated!
