MD Osprey:
I'd just like to remind everyone that there is only one "Official List of
the Birds of Maryland" as maintained by the MD/DC Records Committee and as
commissioned and charted by the Maryland Ornithological Society.
Anyone can count anything they want on any list and anyone can publish any
checklist they wish, such as this eBird list, anywhere, however, the
Northern Lapwing has not yet been review and accepted by MD/DC Records
Committee.
