Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, DC 3/20/2005, 8:58am-9:35am:

Had 2 EASTERN PHOEBES and 15-20 TREE SWALLOWS this morning, this first I've
seen all year. These species (year birds #104 and 105 for us) were not here
when I visited just last week. Now I know spring has arrived at last!!

The Phoebes were on the boardwalk bridge that goes over a small creek or
inlet. The Swallows were chirping and hunting insects over the marsh at the
end of the boardwalk.

Not much else of note, except for a single female HOODED MERGANSER and a
single AMERICAN BLACK DUCK.

	Good Birding!
