Goddard pond patrol

A.M. - not much. Heard Eastern Pheobe and Pine Warbler. Saw Great Blue
Heron, ~ half dozen Song Sparrows.

Lunch - Heard Crows apparently mobbing a Red Shouldered Hawk. Maybe it was
the other way around because four hawks emerged from behind the trees and
the crows went in the opposite direction. The hawks proceeded to gain
altitude and soar and turn like Redtails, occasionally diving at one
another.

Got startled by a nice loud tail-slap from a beaver, heard the Pine Warbler
and Phoebe again. May have heard another PW but I think it more likely it
was a leftover Junco.
