Next Tuesday, April 5, Peggy Spiegel, board member for the Virginia Society
of Ornithology and VA Important Bird Areas identification committee member
will be the speaker at the Baltimore Bird Club meeting at Cylburn Mansion.

"The Dashing World of the Hummingbird" peeks into the fast-paced life of
these tiny jewels. You will see how they manage their amazing flying feats,
feed, migrate, and raise their young. This program covers a sample of the
species that range from Alaska to the tip of South America with special
insight into the ruby-throated hummingbird and hints on how to attract them
to your yard.

The meeting begins with refreshments at 7:30 p.m., and the presentation
should begin at 8:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Please join us.

Directions to Cylburn Mansion:
From Baltimore Beltway (I-695) take Exit 23A (I-83) South to the Northern
Parkway West exit (turn right). Move to the left lane and take the first
left turn off Northern Parkway onto Cylburn Avenue. Take a left at the first
intersection, Greenspring Avenue, and the next left through the stone gate
into Cylburn Arboretum.
