I went for a brief walk at lunch here at SERC. Not much of interest
other than several of both species of kinglets and an Eastern Phoebe
that wasn't too pleased with my proximity. Best bird was a Blue-gray
Gnatcatcher. I was blasting along when I heard it wheezing nearby. It
was still wheezing in the same place on my return.
