Hi Folks,

I ran into Joel Martin at Southwest Area Park (Balt. Co.) this evening, and
we witnessed some fine woodcock flight displays. On two occasions we were
able to watch the entire scenario of a woodcock flying up into a flight
display, coming back to earth, peenting for a couple minutes on the ground
(in plain sight) and then flying back up into another flight display.

Other birds seen there earlier in the evening included PIED-BILLED GREBE
(3), RING-NECKED DUCK (pair), WILSON'S SNIPE, and a gray ghost NORTHERN
HARRIER.
