As an addendum, there were quite a few White-winged Scoters on the return
cruise,
well seen by those on the upper deck.
There was also a POSSIBLE Salt-marsh Sharp-tailed Sparrow seen on the road
back from the marsh. A small, sparrow-like bird dashed low across the road,
and
hit the ground running. Far too small to have been a Song or Seaside
Sparrow. I
never got my binos on the bird, but several of those who also saw the bird
caught
orange tones.
