Have been stuck indoors for four days straight working on a newsletter and painting - very jealous of all of the wonderful birds folks have been seeing and hearing (plus the missed butterflies and spring ephemerals). Went outside just now to spread some seed and put out a plant and was so very happy to hear my first singing warbler of the year, across the street. It was a Yellow Warbler. There are still Juncos and White-throated Sparrows coming for seed, as of today. Have Phoebe and Chipping Sparrow as somewhat recent spring arrivals to the yard. Can't wait to hear my year's first Wood Thrush!

Enjoy the beautiful spring!
