Hi all,
A few new birds in "the yard" this morning, though it is looking might
gloomy out: a handful of Yellow-rumped Warblers feeding in the oak trees, along
with a brilliant (ok, maybe not so brilliant, given the overcast skies...)
male Yellow Warbler. A very new arrival was a male Orchard Oriole who came in
briefly and landed in an apple tree, then off he went. The E. Kingbird seems
like he's here to stay, since Wednesday he's been "singing" away in the
pond-side willows and taller trees around the hedgerow.

Any recent sightings of the VA Rail at Hughes Hollow? I was hoping to try
for it Saturday AM.
