Hi Folks,

A Monday evening jaunt around Southwest Area Park in southwestern Baltimore
Co. produced the following:

Great Egret--1
Black Vulture--1--distant; uncommon here
Am. Black Duck--1
Mallard--hen with 9 (or more) ducklings
Broad-winged Hawk--scoped at great distance
Caspian Tern--2 flying along Patapsco River
Chimney Swift--100s
Tree, Rough-winged, and Barn Swallows--100s
BG Gnatcatcher--1
Common Yellowthroat--5 heard singing
Field Sparrow--1--scarce here
Savannah Sparrow--2 or 3
Swamp Sparrow--1 singing

The E. Meadowlark that was singing here on Sat. afternoon (4/23) was not
found today.
