Hi All,

There will be a joint trip of the Kent County Bird Club and the Chester River Association on Sunday 1 May. We will be heading eastward to Millington Wildlife Management Area. We will meet at 7:00 AM at the Dollar General Parking Lot between MD-213 and Philosopher's Terrace, across the street from Spring St. and the vulture roost. We can arrange to meet people from further up the Chester Valley north of Millington via MD-313 at the railroad crossing on Walnut Tree Rd adjacent to the north end of Quail Run Nurseries at 7:30 AM or a bit later. Millington WMA preserves a portion of the largest wooded area between the Pokomoke Valley and northern Cecil County on the Delmarva; it is an excellent area to see and hear woodland birds including warblers, vireos, thrushes and tanagers. Nancy and I hope to see you Sunday morning.

Good Birding,

Walter Ellison
