Thanks to Chuck Finley for reporting the terns at Lilypons today.  I was there in mid afternoon.  Birds seen:

DC Cormorant  2 on the river
Great Blue Heron  2
Green Heron  1
Killdeer  1
Greater Yellowlegs  5
Spotted Sandpiper  1
Snipe  2
Bonaparte's Gull  2 (adult & im) circling low overhead
Forster's Tern  5 in breeding plumage or nearly there, sitting on plant signs

   Later I stopped at Mason Dixon Farm.  On the west pond was a pair of Green-winged Teal.  At the east pond was one Kingbird, my first of the year.

   At home this morning an Orchard Oriole was singing.
