The last few days have been busy bird days....    On Wednesday evening the pair of green herons that graced us with ther present last year returned as well as the barn swallows and yesterday morning at first light we had our first hummer of the year at the feeder.

Also yesterday at the pond on Rt. 309 (the one closest to the road) in Queen Anne's County there was a pair of Glossy Ibises feeding.  I first saw them at noon and they were still there on my return trip around 4pm.

Can't wait to see what today brings!
