Was delighted to wake up to my first WOOD THRUSHES of the year and then astounded to have a RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH in the yard. (2nd one ever!)!

Out in the atlas block we found 3 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, 12 SOLITARY SANDPIPERS, 2 SPOTTED and 1 LEAST and 24 WILSON'S SNIPE. A pair of GREEN WING TEAL.

Our first GRASSHOPPER SPARROW of the year, HORNED LARKS carrying food. VIRGINIA RAIL responded to a tape. WARBLING VIREO singing along the river.
