A little before 7PM on Sunday an adult Mississippi Kite made a few passes
over woods along the east side of Little Seneca Reservoir. (The Little Seneca
Creek arm of the lake.) These woods are between Wynnfield Drive and the lake, 1/4
mile south of the intersection of Waters Landing Rd and Wynfield. A good
vantage is the stretch of Wynfield that separates Little Seneca Reservoir from
Lake Churchill. There is also a bike path that winds along this part of the lake.
An ADC Montgomery County Atlas is useful. The bird was last seen flying west.
