My first catbird of the year just showed up and started singing; a welcome
return. This morning a Hermit Thrush stopped by (haven't seen one here in a
long while). Lots of White-throated Sparrows are still hanging around, but
their singing sounds more slurred and low-key than two weeks ago. Perhaps
these are younger birds, and the older ones have left already?
