Spent this evening (5:30-6:30) at Middle Patuxent Environ. Area in Howard County.
Big highlight for me was a WARBLING VIREO -- a lifer! He sat and sang in plain sight for quite a while. What a beautiful song!
Other migrants:
WOOD THRUSH
BLUE-HEADED VIREO
RED-EYED VIREO
WHITE-EYED VIREO
BLACK & WHITE WARBLER
BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER
BLUE-WINGED WARBLER (2 - heard only)
Also had fun watching a nest-building BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER.
