The Junco that I last reported seeing on Monday, April 25 just returned.  I had just sprinkled some fresh nyjer and safflower on the patio and when back inside saw the very same lopsided looking Junco.  Now, in better light, was able to more clearly see that his feathers just below his wings on his sides look a little too long and curl out.  If you've ever seen photos of parakeets with French molt, it'll sort of give you an idea.  At any rate, the bird was just as chipper and hungry as he was on Monday and stayed just as briefly.
