I briefly stopped by Hains Point, DC, on my way to work this
(Friday) morning, and had a mini-fallout. Most of the birds
were in the tall oaks near the tip, and included many
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, 1 BLACK-THROATED
GREEN WARBLER, and 1 female BLUE GROSBEAK (my 1st
for Hains Pt). There were also lots of swifts and swallows
flying about, mostly BARN and ROUGH-WINGED, but there
was also 1 BANK SWALLOW.

Halfway up the road on the river side there was a 1st year
male ORCHARD ORIOLE, and a SPOTTED SANDPIPER.

Good birding,
