Quite a few migrants at Rock Creek this AM but not easy to get on, perhaps because of the lack of sunshine. Picnic Area 18 and the woods nearby had Blue-winged (2), Worm-eating (at least 2) and a Cerulean that sang 3 times. Other birds seen/heard there and elsewhere were B/T Green and B/T Blue, Western Palm, Parula, Yellow, Redstart, Black-and-White (8), Myrtle (of course) and Ovenbird (lots as well), as well as a possible Nashville (sang twice) up at the Nature Center. Other birders saw a Hooded. Quite a few Veery and Hermit Thrush and 2 flyover Common Loons. Also several Rose-breasted Grosbeak around.

Late PM trip to Hughes yieled the Moorhen and 2 Yellow-crowned Night Herons and both Least and American Bitterns calling repeatedly.
