The thick foliage is making visual contact difficult, but the songs play on.
As usual, the numbers are very conservative because we can't see all the
birds and don't know whether they are moving through or not, probably not under
these conditions. Birds of note included 2 Black-billed Cuckoos,
Yellow-throated, Blue-headed and 2 Red-eyed Vireos, Nashville, Yellow, Black-throated
Blue, several Yellow-rumped, 2 Black-throated Green, Bay-breasted, 2
Black-and-white Warblers, 3 Redstarts, 2 Ovenbirds, Scarlet Tanager, 3 Rose-breasted
Grosbeaks, 2 Indigo Buntings and 3 Baltimore Orioles.
