Sorry for the late post but I didn't have the time to post this last
night. Sunday at Lake Roland provided, as usual, some good birds.

Warblers:

Yellowthroat, Yellow, BT Green, Yellow-rumped, Parula, Hooded, Ovenbird

Vireos:

White-eyed, Red-eyed, Warbling

Other seasonal migrants:

Baltimore Oriole (4, at least), Phoebe, EW Pewee (first of the year!),
Wood Thrush (2), E. Kingbird, BG Gnatcatcher (everywhere, seemingly, House
Wren (1 in the park entrance area), Wood Duck (saw only 2 this week),
Green Heron

Still hanging around:

RC Kinglet (2)
WT Sparrow: 1 in the brush next to old railroad bridge

Shorebirds on the mudflats:

Far fewer than last week, but a good selection including: Spotted,
Solitary and Semipalmated Sandpipers, Killdeer and G. Yellowlegs

Additionally:

A large number of C. Swifts, Barn and NRW Swallows in the evening.
Pileated Woodpecker entering a cavity about the Hollins Avenue entrance.
BCN Heron (1)
E. Bluebird
WB Nuthatch (ON)
Fish Crows
Chipping Sparrows (several)

Hoping for a good week,

Matt Grey
