Observation end time: 14:30:00
Total observation time: 6 hours

Official Counter: Sue Ricciardi

Observers: Hal Wierenga

Visitors: Jonah Kumalae and grandson Justin

Weather:
65-76 degrees; sunny; northerly winds, 8-10 mph.

Observations:
A one-year-old molting Peregrine Falcon hung around the pond and after a
chase that was obscured from our vision by trees, we saw it fly to a perch
and feast on a Blue Jay. It sat there for the rest of the day. There was
a band on its left leg.

Nearly 600 migrant Blue Jays again today. (Subtract one.) Forgot to
mention yesterday's 18 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
