Hi all --

Not as good a day as we had hoped, what with the winds turning to the south
-- but not to the (optimal) southwest. It was apparently better yesterday,
when folks recorded 15 species of warbler -- (which we missed due to family
emergency.) Nevertheless, as is often true here, perseverance paid off with
some nice looks as some nice birds, but many were "heard only", a bit
frustrating! Also, our first Wood Pewee and Blackpolls.

Warblers: Black-and-White (4-5), Blackburnian (1, beautiful looks at superb
singing male in the sun), Black-throated Green (4), Black-throated Blue
(3-4), Blackpoll (3, heard only, dang!), Myrtle (~40), Nashville (1, heard
only), Ovenbird (3), Parula (2-3, and then 3 more heard driving home through
the park), Redstart (4), Worm-eating (2, heard only), Common Yellowthroat
(4), Yellow (heard singing in park on drive home).

Other migrants: Veery (2), Red-eyed Vireo (10), Indigo Bunting (2),
Rose-breasted Grosbeak (1), Scarlet Tanager (5), Baltimore Oriole (4),
Eastern Kingbird (1), Great Crested FC (3), Yellow-billed Cuckoo (5),
White-throated Sparrow numbers way down, perhaps 10 seen.
