This morning at the Fair Hill Natural Resources area on Gallagher Road the
Bobolinks were out chasing each other and doing their courting flights
just as Chris Starling reported seeing them last Saturday 4 hours later
than I was there. We thought we heard one in a different field but didn't
confirm that. Anyway, they were really cool to watch. If you haven't seen
this display its totally viewable from the parking lot there at Big Elk
Chapel Road and Gallagher Rd. They should be there all spring and summer
to see.
I wouldn't recommend wandering tru the grass becouse of the nesting birds,
but there are a few trails thru it that may get some good looks. Watch
your step.
