I went on a 3-hour Patuxent River boat trip at Jug Bay this morning,
organized by Paul Dumott (sp?) from the ANS, and lead by Greg Kearns from
Patuxent River Park. We had a great outing and found many migrants, and
some nice surprises, including several close views of a BLACK TERN in
breeding plumage. We watched this beautiful bird both at rest and in
flight, as it hunted around the spadderdock in the Billingsley marsh area.
