Hi Folks!

My drive home takes me past the marsh immediately south of the Anne Arundel 
County line on Rt. 261.  I glanced at it while heading south and saw what 
looked like the silhouette of a Black-necked Stilt.  A quick stop at home for bins &
 camera followed.  The return produced not 1, but 2!    
Black-necked Stilts, 2 Dunlin, 3 Lesser Yellowlegs, 200+ Least Sandpipers, 8 
Semipalmated Sandpiper, 6 Semipalmated Plover , 4 Spotted Sandpipers and 3 
Snowy Egrets.  This is my 4th record of Black-necked Stilt for the marsh and a 
record high count for Calvert  ;-)
