Hi,
I stopped briefly at Layhill Park on my way to work this morning. Very
quiet, but as I walked behind the first ball field fence I spotted a very
handsome LINCOLN'S SPARROW, perched in the trees along the small stream there. It
flew up and gave me great looks, then perched in the fence itself before flying
across the field into the shrubs next to the parking lot. My only other good
bird was a very quiet but curious Northern Waterthrush, which popped up in
the woods after I spished a bit.
