In the light rain I decided to tour some of the northern AA County bird
spots. Here are some notables:

Along Ft. Smallwood Rd:

Black Vulture: 2 feeding in seperate locations
Indigo Bunting
E. Towhee

Ft. Smallwood:

Driving in along the access road I was surprised to see a Red-Headed
Woodpecker near the nase of a Tulip Poplar. It hung around, checked out the
stuff on the ground and continued on to some of the other trees. Most of us
don't see them very much at all and I, for one, am always taken aback at
their beauty.

In the pond:

Great Blue Heron: 2
Great Egret: 2
BCN Heron: 1

Around the park:

RT Hummingbird: Zipped past me along the pond
Yellow Warbler: In the brush by the pond
Yellowthroat: Same place as the Yellow
Prarie Warbler!!: By the field off of the access road
Baltimore and Orchard Orioles: Around the pond

Kembo Road area:

Little Blue Heron: 3
Great Blue Heron: 2
Indigo Bunting
Baltimore Oriole

Best to all,
