I agree with Jim's sentiments, but also we need to keep track of abundance
and if people don't report all sightings, we have no way to monitor this.  I
also don't mind a bit of humorous fun now and then, but when it goes on for
weeks or even days, you've lost me.  Wonderful stories of funny backyard
birding experiences are, of course, more than welcome.  We all need a little
humor and lightness in our lives.  But, of course, I defer to Norm.  ; )
