I think that the current strategy, reply to sender (not MDOsprey)
by default, is the best.  I have not seen a decrease in postings,
and it prevents the common error of replying with personal
comments.

Your control of content has been reasonable.  I tire of long
chains of silly humor, too.

On attachments: It makes things more difficult, having to post
photos to a web site and give links in posted messages, but it is
reasonable for you to prevent attachments, considering the huge
amount of storage space that would be consumed.

Overall - good job, Norm.

My only request is to MDOsprey users - use judgement in what you
post - sometimes the messages I read seem more like spam than
birding information.
