Bill and I floated down the Tuckahoe river from Rt 328 to the Choptank this am. Mostly saw the usuals. There were a lot of Great Creasted Flycatchers, E. Kingbirds, Indigo buntings, Osprey, O. Orioles and Common Yellowthroats. We found three Prothonatary warblers, one yellow warbler, three Balds and one white-eyed vireo. Bill fishes the Tuckahoe and Choptank two to three days a week, retirement is rough, and said the birds were quieter than usual. We just signed up for this block in the atlas program. Part of it covers where we were today on down the Choptank to just past Turkey creek, plus inland.
